Back to SBFinance Landing Terms of Service Refund Policy

This policy explains what information is collected through the SBFinance landing site and how it is used.

1. Information We Collect

When you submit the pilot enquiry form, we may collect:

2. How We Use This Information

We use submitted details to review pilot, design-partnership, and private-beta enquiries, follow up with potential users, and improve product onboarding and messaging.

3. Third-Party Form Processor

SBFinance acts as the controller for pilot enquiries. The current submission flow uses Web3Forms as a form-delivery processor. Contact and enquiry fields, plus request metadata such as IP address, browser information and referrer, may be processed using Web3Forms infrastructure providers (AWS, Cloudflare and Hetzner). IP and email address may also be checked by CleanTalk or Akismet for spam prevention. Web3Forms operates from India and uses infrastructure in multiple regions; its policy states that applicable EEA, UK and Swiss transfers use Standard Contractual Clauses. See the Web3Forms privacy policy and Data Processing Agreement. Do not submit financial exports, policy files, account numbers, or other sensitive business data through the marketing form.

4. Marketing-Site Network Requests

The public site requests font files from Google Fonts and public release metadata from the GitHub API. Those providers receive ordinary request metadata such as IP address, browser information, and requested URL. The browser Protection Gap demo also downloads a static synthetic JSON fixture from sbfinance.me; it does not ask for or upload financial exports or policy files.

5. Desktop Product Data Handling

The default desktop workflow is designed to process supported financial exports, text-based policy documents, calculations, and reports on-device or in an agreed private environment. Raw files do not need to be submitted through this marketing site. If optional external AI or integration services are configured for a pilot, their data flow, retention, and user controls must be disclosed and agreed before sensitive data is exchanged.

This marketing-site policy does not by itself certify every desktop deployment. Pilot scope must document local file locations, logs, generated exports, deletion procedures, update checks, optional network services, and the person responsible for access.

6. Data Retention

SBFinance retains delivered contact information only as long as needed for enquiry follow-up, relationship management, and product communication, unless a longer period is required by law. Web3Forms states that form submissions may be retained for up to three years unless a shorter plan period applies or the data is deleted earlier. You may request access, correction or deletion using the contact below; applicability of other rights depends on your jurisdiction.

7. Sharing

We do not sell personal information. We may share limited data with service providers needed to operate the demo request workflow.

8. Security

We use reasonable safeguards to protect submitted information. No online transmission or storage system is guaranteed to be 100% secure.

9. Your Requests

You can request update or deletion of your submitted data by contacting erbol@sbfinance.me.
